Inspired by our very wet and late start to summer in Australia, I present “Summertime” a music video for the 1957 recording for the song of same name by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

I shot the majority of footage in one rain-soaked afternoon in and around our home in Newtown, but I didnt have to wait long for another suitable wet day for the pickups. Just exploring the urban jungle with the song playing on the iphone, simply flexing my creative muscles, attempting to capture images and moments that evoke a feeling.
