I shot this footage on Easter weekend 2011 for a potential short, but the story has since changed direction and so I am putting up the footage here for you to check out, cut into a music video for AlpineStars “Carbon Kid.” Great song featuring Brian Molko from Placebo.

Im liking the look and feel and have learnt alot about shooting from vehicles, moving subjects and editing picture and sound as well as color grading in Final Cut X. Sound was recorded on the day to a ZoomH2 (Thanks to Shanaye).

I would like to thank the boys Darrell and Rodney starring in this video along side their custom machines, and Steve for his support and transport behind the scenes.
